PSC Comments to NIST on Incident Response and Cyber Risk Management

On May 17, 2024, PSC submitted comments on the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Incident Response Recommendations and Considerations for Cybersecurity Risk Management: A CSF 2.0 Community Profile (NIST SP 800-61 Rev. 3 (Initial Public Draft)). PSC feedback focused on (1) harmonizing the final NIST SP 800-61 Rev. 3 with other reporting requirements and (2) implementing Incident Response Life Cycle Framework or Model based on the U.S. Government’s Critical Infrastructure Sector List.
