On August 2, 2024, PSC submitted comments on the FAR Council’s "Advanced Notice of Proposed Rulemaking regarding Prohibition on Certain Semiconductor Products and Services”, as published in the Federal Register May 3, 2024. PSC’s Comments recommended generally: to share with industry results of the government’s analysis, assessment and strategy; create a clear definition of waiver authority, and to discuss FASC recommendations among all U.S. stakeholders, in addition to many other technical recommendations.
