PSC’s Defense Conference to Address Key National Security Challenges


Arlington, Va. (September 26, 2024) -- The 6th Annual Defense Conference, presented by the Professional Services Council (PSC), will be held at the Westin Arlington Gateway in Arlington, VA (in addition to being live-streamed) on Tuesday, October 8, 2024. 

Why Attend?
The Defense Conference is a vital platform for sharing knowledge and fostering partnerships across the federal contracting marketplace. Senior officials from the Department of Defense (DoD), the Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA), the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Intelligence & Security (OUSD), the Executive Office of the President, and more will discuss current initiatives aimed at accelerating innovation and delivering capabilities to the Future Force.

Conference Highlights
This year’s keynote speaker will be Honorable Deborah G. Rosenblum who currently serves as the Acting Deputy Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment (DUSD(A&S)). In this role, she is responsible to the Under Secretary of Defense for all matters pertaining to acquisition; contract administration; logistics and materiel readiness; installations and environment; operational energy; chemical, biological, and nuclear defense; the acquisition workforce; and the defense industrial base. 

Panels include: “Minimizing Seams Across Regions: Insights on Global Collaborations,” “Navigating Federal Cybersecurity Regulations,” and “Building Workforce Resilience: Personnel Initiatives to Meet Mission.”

Magazine Release
During the conference, PSC will also release its fall 2024 edition of Service Contractor Magazine. Reaching almost 11,000 professionals across the federal services industry, this magazine focuses on industry news, regulatory and legislative matters, and other issues related to government contracting.
