Acquisition and Technology Policy Agenda

In response to multiple requests for PSC’s views on acquisition and technology improvement and reform, and to inform a range of related initiatives, PSC convened the Acquisition Policy Review Committee (APRC) in early 2014.The APRC was composed of members of PSC’s Board of Directors, and was supported by three working groups, Defense and General Acquisition, Technology and IT, and Protest Reform, open to participation by all PSC members. This comprehensive Acquisition and Technology Policy Agenda is the result of the APRC’s and the working groups’ deliberations, and is intended to coalesce the views of PSC’s member companies and to serve as a guide for the association’s advocacy efforts on these policies.

The recommendations contained in this report are specifically focused on professional and technology services, rather than major weapons systems or other hardware acquisitions.
