PSC Member Roundtable on Generative AI Tools

DESCRIPTION
Please join PSC’s Emerging Technologies Working Group on Thursday, July 20, 2023—from 1:00pm to 2:00pm—for an “off-the-record; not-for-attribution” meeting on generative artificial intelligence (AI) tools. PSC plans to gather member company insights and comments to help inform potential government-wide and agency level policies and/or requirements. An agenda will be distributed prior to this meeting.

PSC is interested in hearing from members generally on: (1) How PSC members view generative AI tools; (2) How PSC members use generative AI tools for acquisition-related activities; (3) Implications for how the federal government could regulate generative AI tools; and (4) PSC’s role in creating open dialogue between industry and the federal government. This meeting will help define a way forward for PSC engagement. PSC will follow-up with action items based on member input—e.g., PSC may establish a cadence of monthly calls, white papers, subsequent roundtables, and/or Hill and agency meetings, as needed.
