PSC Comments on CISA's CIRCIA Proposed Rule

On July 3, 2024, PSC
submitted comments
on the DHS Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency's (CISA) proposed rule, “Cyber Incident Reporting for Critical Infrastructure Act (CIRCIA) Reporting Requirements.” This rule focused on required reporting of cyber incidents and ransom payments. PSC's comments urged CISA to align its requirements with existing reporting requirements and offered specific recommendations in several areas.
