On July 16, 2022, Foreign Policy Magazine published an article by Graham Allison, professor of government at Harvard Kennedy School, and Eric Schmidt, former CEO and executive chairman of Google, entitled The U.S. Needs a Million Talents Program to Retain Technology Leadership.
 
This article details efforts the U.S. Government must take, including supporting robust immigration and global recruitment efforts, to not only sustain its technological predominance, but to advance it as America competes with global powers such as China.
