Industry Associations Urge Congress on Security Clearance Reforms
As this year’s
National Defense Authorization Act conferees continue to iron out the differences between the House and Senate bills, PSC and our industry partners
urged Committee members to retain four key provisions that will make critical reforms to the security clearance process. While no one action will immediately reduce the backlog while improving security and maintaining the integrity of the process, these provisions represent positive steps by Congress to address the security clearance process. PSC believes that enactment of this legislation will provide federal agencies and their supporting contractors with new ways to make the security clearance process produce better, faster, and more secure results.
