PSC to Release the 2024 Federal Business Forecast Scorecard, Address Civilian and Defense Marketplace Challenges and Emerging Tech Solutions at the Federal Acquisition Conference

Arlington, Va. (June 10, 2024) -- Leaders from the federal government and contracting industry will convene on Thursday, June 20 in Arlington, VA for the 2024 Federal Acquisitions Conference, presented by the Professional Services Council (PSC). The conference, which will be held at the Arlington Gateway Hotel (in addition to being live-streamed), is expected to draw around 200 attendees. 

This year’s keynote speaker will be the Hon. Frank Kendall III, Secretary of the Department of the Air Force. Kendall brings a wealth of experience and expertise in defense acquisition, technology, and logistics. Acquisition officials from DoD, NASA, GSA, HHS, DHS, and the Department of Commerce will participate in panels including, “Dealing with the “New Normal” of Inconsistent Funding,” “Purchasing Technology: Keeping Pace with Innovation,” as well as “Mythbusters: Where Are We Now, and Where Should We Go?” 

During the conference, PSC will release its 2024 edition of the Federal Business Forecast Scorecard, which examines and publicly ranks available procurement forecasts from 70 federal agencies and sub-components. The Scorecard will highlight agency models for success, honorable mentions, and needed improvements.

The conference focuses on practical and actionable strategies for businesses to not only survive but thrive in the government contracting space.
