PSC Development Conference to Highlight Key Insights on International Development, Aid, and Accountability


Arlington, Va. (November 26, 2024) -- The 12th Annual Development Conference, presented by the Professional Services Council (PSC), will be held at the Westin Arlington Gateway in Arlington, VA (in addition to being live-streamed) on Tuesday, December 10, 2024.

This half-day event will explore international capacity building, shared government and development company objectives, and the critical role of international development companies (IDCs) in supporting U.S. government missions.

Conference Highlights

Keynote Speakers

  • Alice Albright – CEO, the Millenium Challenge Corporation (MCC). Albright provides strategic leadership and vision to MCC, helping deliver on programmatic priorities. Ms. Albright has more than 30 years of international experience in the private, non-profit and public sectors.
  • Scott Nathan – CEO, the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC). Nathan was appointed by the President and confirmed by the Senate on February 9th, 2022. He has extensive experience in the public and private sectors. Most recently, he served as the Senior Advisor to the White House Office of Presidential Personnel.
  • Michelle Sumilas - Acting Deputy Administrator, USAID. Sumilas’ previous roles include serving as the Assistant to the Administrator of the Bureau for Planning, Learning and Resource Management (PLR) and Executive Director of Bread for the World.
