PSC Reelects Roger Krone, Carey Smith, and John Heller as 2021 Board Officers and Elects Board Members

Arlington, Va. (Dec. 17, 2020) The Professional Services Council (PSC) Board of Directors in a December 15 vote reelected Roger Krone, Chairman and CEO of Leidos, as Chair of the Board of Directors for 2021, as well as Parsons President and COO Carey Smith as Vice Chair and John Heller, CEO of PAE, as Secretary of the Board of Directors.

“The professional services sector is an essential partner with the federal government in virtually all aspects of its operations and PSC plays a critical role by being a clear and consistent voice for those companies on important issues,” said Krone. “I look forward to serving in the chair capacity in 2021, working with other member companies to expand and strengthen our collective ability to reach decision makers, shape responses to ongoing challenges, and increase engagement with government agencies and other stakeholders.”

The PSC Board of Directors consists of 80 executives from member companies who have shown leadership in the industry and a commitment to PSC’s goals for building a fair and competitive federal contracting marketplace. They are elected by their peers and reflect the breadth and diversity of PSC member companies. As leaders of the PSC Board, Krone, Smith, and Heller will shape the agenda and governance for the association, working closely with PSC leadership and staff to accomplish the association’s goals and objectives.

“After the unprecedented events of 2020, the industry demonstrated its adaptability and innovation,” said PSC President and CEO David J. Berteau. “The challenges of COVID-19, uncertain federal funding, and changes to the policies and regulations mean that our efforts as an association are critical to enable our member companies to support agency missions. The experience and knowledge of Roger, Carey, and John helps PSC advance our industry and better serve our government customers and the American people. I am grateful for their leadership and willingness to serve, and I look forward to working with them and the entire board.”
