Cassie Katz

Cassie Katz is the Vice President of Marketing for the Professional Services Council where she is responsible for leading all marketing initiatives across the organization. She oversees all owned marketing channels, content and event marketing, video production, brand management, creative development and advertising. During her time at PSC, Cassie helped the organization launch four new conferences, migrate to virtual and hybrid events, develop a year-long partnership program, as well as update organization-wide communication tools and processes. She has been a featured speaker at the Washington, DC Digital Summit, ASAE Executive Leadership Forum, American University, and PR News events and workshops.

Prior to PSC, she was the Washington, DC business development manager for two global public relations and communications agencies. Prior to that, she oversaw the marketing and business development for a boutique multimedia communications agency. She’s worked with a variety of clients including Fortune 500 companies, nonprofits and associations. Cassie started her career as a crime and political reporter where her writing was featured in outlets including CBS News Online and The Capital Gazette. Most recently, her writing has appeared in PR News and ASAE Resources.

She earned her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from the University of Maryland, a Certificate in Political Journalism from Georgetown University, and a Design Thinking Certificate of Distinction from the Stanford University Design Thinking Lab. She lives in Maryland and is a proud wife and mom of two girls.
