MEETING DESCRIPTION This event is designed to examine how federal Chief Financial Officers are translating Administration priorities into measurable results by driving efficiency, strengthening mission outcomes, and enhancing accountability. Panelists will discuss best practices for mitigating fraud, waste, and abuse; improving financial oversight; and aligning resources to mission-critical objectives. Drawing on examples from across government, as well as proven private-sector approaches adapted for public service, the discussion will highlight practical tools and frameworks CFOs are using to measure return on investment and maximize the impact of taxpayer dollars. It will also help industry better understand their role and how they can best support financial management initiatives across civilian agencies.
