DESCRIPTION
Mr. Farooq Mitha, Director of the Department of Defense (DoD) Office of Small Business Programs (OSBP) will engage in a roundtable discussion with PSC member companies on OSD's recently released 2023 Small Business Strategy. The strategy aims at promoting a strong, dynamic, and robust small business industrial base by reducing barriers to entry, increasing small business set-aside competitions, and leveraging small business programs to grow the small business industrial base.


ABOUT D&IC
The Defense and Intelligence Council (D&IC) leads PSC’s activities relating to the intelligence community, the military services, and the defense agencies. The D&IC is the principal venue for PSC members to interface with key government officials, provide input on acquisition policy issues, and shape upcoming procurements in the defense and intelligence sector.

Lauren Ayers is the Vice President of Defense and Intelligence for the Professional Services Council. In this role, she leads PSC’s policy, advocacy, and education efforts in areas related to the U.S. Department of Defense, the agencies of the Intelligence Community, and related organizations.
