GUEST SPEAKER
Please join PSC for a Health and Human Services Task Force meeting on Monday, November 13, 2023 from 10:00am-11:00am ET as we host Dr. Anita Everett, the Director of the Center for Mental Health Services within the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration at the Department of Health and Human Services. Dr. Everett will discuss the future of mental health care in the US, particularly with regards to how SAMHSA is fostering evidence-based practice, supporting clinicians in the field, and helping facilitate changing care models to increase treatment accessibility for both substance and mental health disorders. We will hold a brief 30-minute internal task force meeting after hearing from the guest speaker.

Krista Sweet is the Vice President of Civilian Agencies for the Professional Services Council where she leads policy, programs, and advocacy on behalf of members with federal civilian agencies, including the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Health and Human Services, Internal Revenue Service (IRS), and Department of Energy
