Technology Supply Chain Working Group Kick-off Meeting

DESCRIPTION
Please join PSC’s Technology Supply Chain Working Group on Thursday, August 17, 2023—from 1:00pm to 2:00pm ET—for an off-the-record kick-off meeting to discuss challenges and best practices for ensuring a secure supply chain for high-demand technology components and systems. This group will initially focus on how PSC and member companies can best help Government officials think about the semiconductor space; this issue area is particularly important given ongoing implementation of the CHIPS and Science Act (enacted in August 2022) and the need for government contractors to prepare for compliance. This August 17 meeting will: (1) discuss member priorities in the tech supply chain area; (2) brainstorm future working group meetings with potential Government speakers; and (3) develop an action plan with short and long-term “due outs” for PSC staff. PSC will distribute an agenda prior to the meeting and will schedule a regular cadence of sessions after this initial kick-off.
