David Berteau Testifies on DoD Auditing Practices

The Professional Services Council’s President and CEO, David Berteau, testified on April 6 before the House Armed Services Committee’s Oversight and Investigations Subcommittee in a hearing, entitled “Evaluating the Defense Contract Auditing Process.” Berteau highlighted the important contributions of the government contracting community, detailed how private sector contract support can be deployed to supplement DCAA’s work, and made recommendations on reforms that will reduce costly backlogs and increase the timeliness of closeouts.
