Government Affairs Committee Meeting

Government Affairs Committee Meeting

GUEST SPEAKERS
Please join PSC for a joint Government Affairs Committee and MidSize Company Working Group meeting on Friday, March 3 at noon as we host the Government Accountability Office’s (GAO) William Shear, Nate Tranquilli and Kay Kuhlman. William Shear is GAO's Director of Financial Markets and Community Investment; Nate Tranquilli is an Assistant Director focused on contracting and national security acquisition issues; and Kay Kulhman is an Assistant Director in the Financial Markets and Community Investment Team whose portfolio includes DOD’s small business strategy. They will discuss GAO’s work on federal contracting issues, including policies impacting small and midsize companies, and government-wide contracting vehicles and initiatives, among other issues.

DESCRIPTION
The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) meets the first Friday of every month and is often referred to as “the best information exchange in town.” Each meeting features a special government guest discussing, on a non-attribution basis, one or more critical legislative, regulatory, or other policy issues. The second half of each meeting is the information exchange, where up-to-date information and materials on relevant issues and recent policy developments are disseminated and discussed.
