Northern Virginia Chamber and PSC Announce Winners of the 2025 Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards®


Arlington, Va. (November 7, 2025) -- On November 5, the Northern Virginia Chamber (NVC) and the Professional Services Council (PSC), hosted the 23rd Annual Greater Washington Government Contractor Awards® — the region’s most prestigious celebration of government contracting excellence. Nearly 1,000 members of the business community were in attendance.

The evening began with a Gala Reception, followed by the awards dinner and dessert reception. As event co-hosts, Richard Pineda, NVC Board Chairman, and Stephanie Sanok Kostro, PSC President, kicked off the program with welcome remarks and an overview of the history of the GovCon Awards. The 2025 GovCon Awards were emceed by Ruth Ann Clark of J.P. Morgan Chase and Dimitri Devieux of USI Insurance Services, both Platinum Sponsors of this year’s event and long-standing members of NVC’s Board of Directors. A post-event Dessert Reception, sponsored by Lexell Blue Consulting, followed the awards program.

The program featured 10 award categories and honored 12 individuals and organizations:

  • LaFleur-Chason Hall of Fame Award, presented to Joseph Kampf, former Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of CoVant Management.
  • Contractor of the Year (by revenue)
  • Executive of the Year (by revenue)

    • Chairman of the U.S. House Armed Services Committee Mike Rogers (AL-03)
    • Ranking Member of the House Armed Services Committee Adam Smith (WA-09)
