Federal Market Trends Revealed at the PSC Foundation’s Vision Conference

Media are invited to embargoed press briefing on Monday, Nov. 24 at 10 a.m. ET.
Vision Conference press passes available; details below

Arlington, Va. (November 19, 2025) -- The Professional Services Council (PSC) Foundation will release the highly anticipated Vision Federal Market Forecast during the Foundation’s Vision Conference on Dec. 1 at The Westin Arlington in VA. This in-person day will be followed by two days of virtual sessions on Dec. 2-3.

At a time when government and industry officials are navigating a marketplace changed by the longest-ever federal government shutdown, data and analyses at the Vision Conference will provide much-needed insights into agencies’ priorities and resources. The Vision Federal Market Forecast is a culmination of a year-long effort led by the PSC Foundation wherein trained industry volunteers conduct research and non-attribution discussions with government leaders, think tank experts, congressional staff, and Wall Street analysts.

“Hundreds of federal government leaders participated in not-for-attribution roundtable discussions and provided insights for the team reports,” said Donald Baumgart, Director of the Vision Federal Market Forecast. “More than 400 volunteers from government contracting companies contributed to the reports that will be released at the Vision Conference. It is where industry and government convene to gain clarity into what to expect in the year – and years – ahead.”

The Vision Federal Market Forecast includes 20+ reports on: government-wide, defense, civilian, and information technology (IT) budget trends; reform initiatives; key drivers; and potential business opportunities. It is the only non-profit analysis of these markets.

Reports are released digitally during the conference, where team leads will present their findings. In addition, government officials will provide commentary through keynote remarks and panel sessions.
