Group supports PSC advocacy efforts in related policy areas across the Department of Defense. PSC, along with other associations, will be providing feedback to DoD officials on how to operationalize the JCCL in support of the Joint Warfighting Concept (JWC). PSC POLICY LEAD Ryan McDermott Vice President, Defense and Intelligence Ryan McDermott is the Vice President for Defense and Intelligence for the Professional Services Council (PSC). Prior to PSC, he served as Principal Director for Manufacturing and Industrial Base Policy in the Department of Defense. Ryan is a graduate of the United States Military Academy. He holds a MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business and a MA in Security Studies from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University. How to Register 1. ABOUT D&IC The Defense and Intelligence Council (D&IC) leads PSC’s activities relating to the intelligence community, the military services, and the defense agencies. The D&IC is the principal venue for PSC members to interface with key government officials, provide input on acquisition policy issues, and shape upcoming procurements in the defense and intelligence sectors toward an outcome-oriented federal services acquisition process through regular meetings, timely programs, and various other avenues.
