Joe Carden
Vice President, Marketing & Membership
Joe is the Vice President, Membership and Marketing for the Professional Services Council. He and his team focus on driving excellence for the member experience, communicating the value of engagement with PSC and widening the appreciation of the advocacy led on behalf of the federal contracting industry. His favorite part of his job is working with a talented and committed team of professionals.
Matt Busby
Director, Membership
Matt Busby, joined PSC in 2009 and is PSC’s Director of Membership, responsible for leading operational and strategic activities in Member Acquisition & Development, Member Retention, and Database Systems Management. In this role, he applies strategic approaches in maximizing member engagement, implementing tools, and leveraging analytics to gain insights into member behavior. Through an understanding of member engagement, he monitors member activities for the development of products to support and improve customer service and enhanced membership experiences.
Laila Hammond
Membership Associate
As PSC’s Membership Associate, Laila Hammonds provides support to the Membership Director and Vice President of Membership and Marketing by assisting with membership recruitment/retention efforts, accounts payable, member services, and reporting. Laila received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English from the University of Maryland. She has spent eight years working for non-profit organizations in Washington, DC. In her spare time, she loves being outdoors, yoga, fitness, comedy, and everything arts-related.
