Contract Finance and Cash Flow Committee Meeting

GUEST SPEAKER
Martha McKune, Assistant Director of Policy and Plans for the Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA), will be the guest speaker at the PSC Contract Finance and Cash Flow Committee meeting on March 16. Ms. McKune will discuss the Director’s priorities, COVID impacts, and the CARES Act among other items.  Registrants are encouraged to send in questions to PSC ahead of the meeting at Policy@pscouncil.org.

DESCRIPTION 

The Contract Finance and Cash Flow Committee identifies issues and initiates advocacy actions on a range of issues associated with government contract payments/financing, cost accounting standards and cost principles, government audit policy, and contract reconciliation. Oversees PSC's partnership with DCMA, DCAA, and DFAS. The agenda for this meeting is in development.

Ryan McDermott
Vice President, Defense and Intelligence 
Ryan McDermott is the Vice President for Defense and Intelligence for the Professional Services Council (PSC). Prior to PSC, he served as Principal Director for Manufacturing and Industrial Base Policy in the Department of Defense. Ryan is a graduate of the United States Military Academy. He holds a MBA from the Darden Graduate School of Business and a MA in Security Studies from the Edmund A. Walsh School of Foreign Service at Georgetown University.


ABOUT ABPC
The Acquisition and Business Policy Council is the principal body for developing PSC’s positions and taking action on cross-cutting, major acquisition policy issues. Its focus encompasses wide-ranging issues such as multiple award and schedules contracts, the role of contractors, federal acquisition workforce development, commerciality, contract type and competitiveness, requirements development and evaluation strategies, alternative acquisition models, internal and external communication, and industrial base health and competition. The Acquisition and Business Policy Council fosters formal and informal partnerships with policymakers and allied stakeholders, and works toward an outcome-oriented federal services acquisition process through regular meetings, timely programs, and various other avenues.
