GUEST SPEAKER
  Our guest speaker will be Scott Calisti, Director, Contract Policy, Defense Pricing and Contracting, within the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition and Sustainment. He oversees the development of new, innovative acquisition guidance and policies, and ensures the currency of existing policy to support a responsive acquisition system in support of warfighter mission needs. 
In addition, he supports major acquisition program reviews and the policy, guidance and authorities that underpin the contingency contracting mission in response to humanitarian, disaster and contingency operations.
DESCRIPTION
The Government Affairs Committee (GAC) meets the first Friday of every month and is often referred to as “the best information exchange in town.” Each meeting features a special government guest discussing, on a non-attribution basis, one or more critical legislative, regulatory, or other policy issues. The second half of each meeting is the information exchange, where up-to-date information and materials on relevant issues and recent policy developments are disseminated and discussed.

Alan L. Chvotkin is the executive vice president and counsel of the Professional Services Council, the principal national trade association of the government technology and professional services industry, where he is responsible for the association’s legislative and regulatory policy activity. He has been at PSC since 2001.
