[Recording Available] PSC Quarterly Member Briefing: Debt Deal Impact & Current Policy

Available exclusively for PSC members, PSC’s Quarterly Member Briefing is an in-depth presentation by PSC executive staff on agency and market-specific drivers relevant to your business. This update focused on: (1) potential FY24 and FY25 funding impacts of the Fiscal Responsibility Act of 2023 and (2) policy “hot topics” like OASIS+, Polaris, non-competes, cyber activity, and OCIs.

PSC Comments: Prohibition on Certain Procurements Using Uyghur Forced Labor

On August 7, 2023, PSC submitted comments on an interim rule, Prohibition on Certain Procurements from the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region (XUAR; DFARS Case 2023-D015). This rule requires DoD offerors and awardees to make a "good faith effort" to determine that forced labor from XUAR will not be used in the performance of a DoD contract. Noting the opaqueness of the Chinese marketplace, PSC provided several recommendations, which you can access here.

PSC Comments on TikTok Ban for Federal Contractors

PSC provided comments on the recent Prohibition on a ByteDance Covered Application (FAR Case 2023-010), an interim rule effective on June 2, 2023. This rule prohibits "having or using the social networking service TikTok or any successor application" on all devices used in the performance of a federal contract, including contractor employee-owned devices under a Bring Your Own Device program. PSC Submits Comments on CMS Labor Harmony Clause Requirement

On August 1, 2023, PSC submitted comments to a CMS Request for Information on workforce management issues in contact center operations and the possible inclusion of a labor harmony clause in future contracts. Read the comments here.

ONCD Releases Cyber Regulatory Harmonization RFI: PSC Invites Member Input for Comments

On July 19, 2023, the White House announced an RFI regarding cyber regulatory harmonization & reciprocity. ONCD is seeking comments on regulatory conflicts and challenges to inform harmonization & reciprocity. Find out more here! PSC will comment and asks for industry feedback.
